Nice Employees and Bare Banger selection of Vinyls and DVD’s. But broskiiiiii, i came all the way from Sauga to buy this South Park SEALED dvd. i am a collector so i heard the selection hear slapped so i pulled up. BUT BOI, i went home unwrapped this shit, and l the damage is insaneeeeee. Firstly, i can’t take the CD out properly because the cavities around the disc that are used to have your fingers enter in, which help grasp the CD, well the cavities have little Elevated plastic blocking ur fingers from grasping the CD. how the heck are there Elevated plastic AROUND the CD that are blocking my fingers from grabbing the CD. secondly, The push feature is hella wack too, it’s not working properly to remove the CD. Finally, the internal case has damage 😭. Man having the INSIDE PLASTIC DAMAGED is next level finess😭. Man, the employees selling were hella nice, i ain’t discrediting them. but the fact the product was MANUFACTURED poorly and it is damaged inside AND outside is super disappointing. i legit can’t believe a sealed product has this many flaws. They finessed me gooooood, Two hairy thumbs down fam, beyond cheesed for paying almost 45 bucks

Excellent store, lots of items, well stocked, and friendly staff. They had a vinyl record I was looking for in store... Way cheaper than trying to buy online from Amazon. Glad to support local stores like Sunrise Records!

This is the worst shopping experience I got. One week ago, I got the vinyle record of “Folklore” from Taylor Swift. When I brought it back and tried to play it on my machine, it’s skipping like crazy the song “The 1”.

As the product has quality issue, I brought up back to the store and asked for returning. However, after I showed the manger (a white old guy) the video to prove the product is defective, he started to judging my player is too simple to adjust the needle which caused the skipping issue.

But the thing is, I have the vinyl version of 1989 and all songs are good on my player. And then he found a new “Folklore” for me and claimed that the new should be all good as it’s probably manufactured in different batch in different country.

When I got the “skipping” Folklore last week, I clearly knew from the store staff that they just got restock of 13 vinyl folklore last Friday so the new one arrived at the same time with my skipping one. Meanwhile, as per the sticker on the record, both records were manufactured in Czech Republic then how can he make sure the new one is all good?

The funny thing is that ridiculous manager told me they can only exchange for unsealed products not refund. However, the store policy says exchange and refund is only eligible for sealed products. If he can exchange, why not refund?

I will never ever come to this stupid store again.

I went here looking for a song I wanted to physically own. They were really helpful in helping me to try and find what I was looking for. They had vinyl! They also had band shirts and other things you could use to round out a gift of music.

I found a Lorde Solar Power record, labelled $37.99 and "marble orange" in the store, which I was elated to find, as I had been looking for a coloured variant of this record for a while. So, when I went to check out, the clerk told me it was $55, which was a bit odd, but I was still very invested in it. To make sure, I asked the clerk if it was still the marble orange pressing, and he reassured me it was, and that Sunrise Records was the only place I could get it in Canada, hence the exclusive sticker, and ripped off the $37.99 price tag after I paid. Later, when I opened my record, it turned out to be standard black, which I already own, so now I am left with another one, after being charged.

Wow Its been years since I went into a Sunrise record store, Didn't know this one was this close to me. I could have spent hours here reliving my music past and I will be back, but my wife had finished her clothes shopping. What a tremendous selection of LP records tapes movies cds, etc and much more. I will be back. Located in the Pickering Town Centre.
