Clean, comfortable and rustic. The lodge and store close at 6pm even in July so keep that in mind. We rented a cabin and it was perfect for five people. Convenient to Lily Lake where you will get cell service again and Estes Park is not a far drive. Convenient lodging for Rocky Mountain National Park. We enjoyed our quiet stay here

Overall, our experience just didn’t match what I believe the website advertised. We sure were looking for nor expecting a glamorous luxury experience, but when they say the cabins are “rustic”, they mean that in every sense of the word. We also felt a bit misled by the term “2 bedroom”. It’s actually more of a studio setup with dividers. The rooms are not individual rooms, see pic. Same for the bathroom. If your goals are to really be one with nature, with bugs and spiders everywhere, this might be for you. But my family was not into that and it was quite a disappointment. The overall vibe is a hastily constructed cabin from 100+ years ago, updated by a C- shop class project during the 1950’s. Even the beds were pretty rough, definitely super old. Also, I typically expect little things like soap for the shower, not having that was a hassle. We won’t ever stay again. But if you’re into the super-austere “roughing it” scene, maybe this would satisfy.

Agree with others that the experience did not meet the expectations set up by website. The actual lodge rooms remind me of a hostel experience. Beds were not comfortable. The lodge is very old and you can hear everything from neighboring rooms and the road. The downstairs lobby area is very quaint but on weekdays is entirely closed at 6pm sequestering guests into personal rooms. Also, I am pretty sure there are mice as several granola bars we had in the room had corner bites with torn wrapping. I would personally not stay here again. The location is lovely and off the beaten path.

Definitely rustic but clean and very comfortable. We stayed in a cabin so we enjoyed sitting by the fire and playing cards and doing puzzles, which we picked up in the main lodge. Very close to lots of trails and Estes Park. Highly recommended to anyone looking to completely unplug and relax!

What an absolute gem this place is! We drove all the way out from Florida to visit the RMNP area, and did NOT want to have a stressful TOURIST experience staying in Estes Park. Meeker Park Lodge was a perfect escape from the construction traffic and mass amounts of people. Upon arrival, we felt like we had been swept away to another time. This is NOT a place to stay if you are expecting the Ritz-Carlton. Accommodations here are very rustic. The rooms are clean, basic, and all you need to relax and unwind. We enjoyed sitting on the big upstairs porch to watch the sun set nightly and the many hummingbirds that were putting on their show around the feeders. We saw a moose cross the road less than a mile from the lodge. It is very QUIET here, the owners and staff are absolutely fantastic people. There was an issue with my credit card being compromised and I had to switch cards upon arrival. Due to a technical problem, the card would not work the first day we arrived. Most hotels would not allow you to stay, but we were welcomed and allowed to check in. The problem was fixed the next day, but the understanding from the owner was above and beyond expectations. We would love to come back another summer and stay an entire week, instead of just a few days. Most restaurants are close to Estes Park, about 15-20 minutes away, so that was the only downfall, having to drive a bit to eat. There is a cute little market in the lodge that has lunch stuff and snacks/drinks. Thank you Meeker Park Lodge for setting a precedence for hospitality! We can't wait to come back and stay with you again.

Amazing place even if you’re not staying. We were camping near by and stopped to use the showers, get firewood & ice, and even live music!

Showers are $5, hot, and not timed. The staff is so kind. We would buy a shower and then after buy a soda. We would sit on their gorgeous front porch and drink it while we used the WiFi to send updates to friends and family.

The most beautiful place in the world! Staff were super friendly and stayed up late to accommodate us arriving late. We were in room 1 where we had a private bath. Linens + towels were provided. We got there late and couldn’t see what was around us. But when we woke up we had the most beautiful view.
